Peter Fredericks and his wife were both listed in Nancy’s various Censuses as born in NJ The 1793 NJ Militia Census lists a Peter Fredericks.

Peter, father of Nancy Fredericks, may have been a relative (brother?) of (the Private in General “Mad” Anthony Wayne’s Pennsyl. Reg.) Thomas M. Fredericks (b.1758 d.1830) of Passaic Co., NJ, who was the son of Conrad Fredericks (b.1720 in Kanckna, Holland, who had immigrated to NJ before returning to Holland, where he d. in Tawacha) and Sara Hosok, who m.1743. In fact, the son of Thomas M. Fredericks was named Peter T. Fredericks (b.1795 d.1860), who was a farmer in Newfoundland, NJ.

K. ISAAC PIERSON I., b.1810 d.1836, m.c.1832 Nancy (b.1815 in NJ, d.1893 in Newark, NJ? of bronchitis) dau. of Peter Fredericks and _________________.

Nancy Fredericks (b.1815 in NJ, d.1893 in Newark, NJ? of bronchitis) m.c.1832 Isaac PIERSON I. (b.1810 in Morris Plains, NJ d.1836 in same?) She susequently married a Benjamin O. Lytel (a.k.a. “Little”) sometime between the births of her sons Isaac PIERSON II (1836) and Gilbert Lytel (1843).

In 1850, Isaac II and the Lytels were living in Southfield (Staten Island), NY (son Joseph N. Pierson was probably out working already, probably in the Brower household, also located in Southfield.) Nancy and her husband Ben owned a boarding house in the 2nd ward of Newark, NJ in 1860. She was listed as blind in the 1870 census.

I woul dappreciate any info. on Nancy and Peter Fredericks and their ancestry. I can be emailed directly. Thanx! Dominic Michael Iradi (i.e. Michael) d.m.iradi@wanadoo.fr
