Hi,

I know there is a connection between Hill Freeburn and the Daniel Freeburn who lived in Southwark Twp., Philadelphia in 1825 but cannot be absolutely sure. In my research I found that my relative Daniel Freeburn (son of Hill & Martha Glen Freeburn) was living in Southwark Twp. in 1809. This is stated on an Indenture that lists him as a "smith" in "Southwark Twp." Daniel was a blacksmith by trade. Here is my website discussion on this question:

Just copy and type this into your address bar and it should take you to my website. The general address is:

The reason I was asking for anyone who might have access to Will abstracts is to see if this Daniel left a will in Philadelphia. If he did it might mention his parents or other brothers. There is also a James Freeburn living there in 1825. I will gladly and freely share any Freeburn information that you might want. Most is already posted on my website and on ancestry.com. Thanks for replying and I hope we can chat further. Thanks.

P.S. Hill is my Sons of the American Revolution ancestor.
