My great-grandfather was James F. Freeland, whose parents,
Garrett and Ann(a)Eliza Travis, were from upstate NY. James had several siblings, George, John, Mary A., Nancy J., Phoebe, William. The family seemed to have left NY after l860, going west towards
Ohio. Does anyone have any info?
