He was probably my uncle from Maywood, also sometimes called Jack. His older brother, Robert Wallace Frees (1913-1994), was my father. I also know that I have some relatives in Texas. If John is the same person, he has a living son in Colorado, who I haven't seen since the 70's.
Their parents were Henry and Blanche, though I don't have correct spellings for the maiden names of the wives in the family. Henry's side apparently came during the industrial revolution from around Meinz, Germany, some are Meyers (sp?). Blanche was Blaithewick (sp?)
