I'm looking for a direct descendant of Henry Frevert, b.5 May 1857 in Hassenbrede, Germany. He resided in Evansville, IN in 1867 and in 1924.
I have knowledge of the whereabouts of his Naturalization papers. The place that has them would like to return them to his family.

Thank you for your time!

Karen (volunteer)

Frevert in Montgomery County, Ohio

I am a member of a group who is restoring two pioneer cemeteries in Mongtomery County, OH. There is an old headstone with German written on it. It belongs to a Henrietta Frevert born in 1802 and died in 1857. If anyone could help me with this family I would greatly appreciate it.

Dick

My husband is a Woodson Co. KS Frevert. Family's lived within a mile for 4 generations, starting with Frederick Frevert in mid 1850's. I thought I read somewhere that Frederick left during the war, then after the war 2 brothers settled West of St. Louis, Missouri. ??? Not really factual, I can't remember where I saw this written.

Henry C. FREVERT

I am trying to help someone whose maiden name was FREVERT. She is the daughter of Lenus who was the son of Fredrick and Hattie FREVERT. Fredrick was born in Indiana about 1876. His mother was Charlotte and I believe his father was Henry C. FREVERT. I did find a Henry C. and Charlotte listed in the 1880 census for Knox County, Vincennes Township in Indiana and they did, indeed, have a son, Frederick, and also a daughter Mary. In the 1900 census they are in Valley Township, Ellsworth County, Kansas and have 2 more children, Charlie and Willie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Marilynn,
I have your Herman August Frevert in my database on the Frevert family. I believe I have his brothers and sisters that came to this country as well. I did not have the date of immigration that you had in your message. I also have their parents as Friedrich Heinrich Frevert and Amalia Conradine Meierherm from Lippe Detmold, Germany and their marriage on December 16, 1831 in Bosingfeld, Lippe Detmold, Germany. As you may have noticed another researcher of this family Ann Addison is also related. Would like to share information if your interested.

Dear Melvin,
Thank you for your very prompt response! I'm very interested in corresponding and getting these brothers & sisters, and I'll write Ann as well.
Duke University has our Freverts in a confidential genetic study on Alzheimer's. 33% in each succeeding generation have AD. I don't know if it's through the Freverts or the Wustenbeckers. Any signs in your branch? This would include dying of a heart attack at 50 or "senile dementia" at 70. If so, please keep in touch: the Freverts will be the first to get the cure Duke's working on. Thanks, Marilynn

Dear Melvin,
My Grandmother, Wilhelmina was a Frevert. Her father, Herman August Frevert, was born in Lippe Detmold (Ger.) 11/28/1835. He and several brothers arrived in America in 1865 and worked for a Meier or Meyer near Minier, IL. In 1869 he went to Vincinnes, IN where he married Charlotte Wustenbecker, also from Lippe Detmold, and they returned to Minier, IL. I have suspected that some of the Freverts stayed in Vincinnes.

Because of the Vincinnes connection, and the uncommon name of Frevert, I suspect we are related. Marilynn Thomas
