Surnames: Smiley and Furrher

I am the Great-Great-Great Grandaughter of Jonathan C. Smiley (m.Mary Furrher on June 4 1974) . He had 2 sons Loyal and Lawson. Uncle Loyal as you may know is still alive but my Great -Grandfather Lawson died a couple years back. He had 6 children (one who lives is Calf. and my aunts and uncles who live in Arkansas).
When doing my family history I have not been able to go back farther than Jonathan and Mary. Do you by chance know who were his parents ?
