I would like to find out more about this family:

1. James Frew
- married ?
- children: Thomas (b1776), Jane (b1778), James (b1780), ARCHIBALD (b1782) : all born in Swallow Hall, Old Monkland. George (b 1784 in Gateside, Old Monkland)

2. Archibald Frew, coal master
- born: May 27 1782 in Swallow Hall
- married: Isobel/Elizbeth Topen/Toppin, 1802, Coatdyke, Old Monkland
- died in 1855 in Tradeston, Glasgow

The children of ARCHIBALD Frew and Isobel Topen were all born in Coatdyke, Old Monkland:
- Isabella Frew, b 1803 (ggg grandmother), married James Strang. Immigrated to NZ as widow with 4 children.
- James Frew, b 1804
- Fannie Frew, b 1806
- Mary Anne Frew, b 1809
- Thomas Frew, b 1811
- Archibald Frew, b 1813
- William Frew, b 1815
- Sarah Henry Frew, b 1817
