They set sail from Liverpool on the ship called Enoch Train on March 23, 1856. The Enoch Train is in the museum in Salt Lake City. Jean was sick all the way. She was so sick she couldn't eat and many days she was in bed all day. They buried two sons at sea. One was about two and a half years old and the other a small baby.

Can anyone descending from this line of Frew's give me a list of the children born to John and Jean?
I have a total of 10 with Margaret Ann b. 1862 as the last child. Noting that Thomas b. 1850 and John b. 1852 are not mentioned with the family on the passenger list. Are they the two children that were buried at sea?
