I have no information about your Issac Buchanan Friar. But, my Great Great Grandfather was James Buchanan Benton. He married Nancy Elizabeth Friar. They lived in Robertson Co TN. One of their boys death certificates says they were from Springfield.

The children I have for them is as follows: Robert John, James C, Alma, Lenora E, Betty I, Irene K, Thomas I, Frances Freeman, Bernice H. and William Luton.
