Yes, yes, yes! My Mother's Father's family are all from around Ponta Delgada and Fenais da Luz in Sao Miguel. My "avósinho" (Not sure how to spell it - Great Grandfather) was Verginio Marcellos De Frias born 1 May 1866 in Cabouco, Lagoa, Sao Miguel, Açores. I'm still confused over the naming conventions in the old country, so if anyone can explain that to me I would be most grateful.
