The Michael Friel that I knew lived in Philadelphia. His wife's name was Nora and he had a daughter named Rosemary along with other children. Rosemary was married and lived in the town where I grew up in New Jersey. My grandfather told me that they were cousins and there was a resemblance. My grandfather lived in Fanad not too far from the lighthouse. I have been up there myself 3 times. It is beautiful country but still very sparsely populated. They spoke of Oakford Street all the time. My grandfather had a house around there. I will look for the address. I have it here somewhere.
