Im new to genealogy and, i have found it difficult to trace my tree back on this lampers side. My great grandfather's name was Frank Lampers and if the naming went as it traditionally would have, he named his first son after his paternal father, (am i guessing correctly?). His first son was named Jake, short for Jacob or Jakob. I want to know if there are any birth or death or any records in Friesland of a Jakob/Jacob Lampers or if you can direct me in a better direction?
