Surnames: Aalfs or Rienders
I am trying to find any information on the origins of my great grandfather Jacob H. Aalfs. He was born in 1854 in either Gronegen or East Friesland. on his death certificate his father name is listed as Riener or Riender, but this was information taken by memory of a granddaughter. I really just want to know if i am Dutch or German
