Am also researching the Frisby family, particularly Josiah Frisby. My husband's great grandmother was Malinda Frisby b.1 Jan. 1840, the dau. of Samuel Frisby b. abt. 1818 and died 6 Aug. 1880 in Madison Co. NC. Samuel married a Nancy, last name unknown, and 2nd married Lucinda Buckner. According to the Frisbie Family Asssociation, Samuel was the fifth child of Josiah and Elizabeth Imbler Frisby. That is about all they would give me for info and did not really make a connection to the Connecticut Frisbys. Malinda married John Correll, of Madison Co. NC. John moved to Haywood in Cataloochie and then on to Alabama where they died. Was not aware that Josiah was born in GA. Do you know where the proof is?
