I am looking for information on a Mollie Frisbee who married Ambrose Laurin. They had children Mary Ellie (Elizabeth), George and Paul and lived in Auburn, NY in the 1920s and 30s.

I am the great niece of Ambrose and can provide information on the Laurin family.

Re: Olivia Frisbee-Jesse Tobey of Maine

Is this the same family that shows up in kittery Depot in the 1870 Census (Jesse, Olivia, Willie, Ida H., Addison TOBEY)? And perhaps again in 1900 (Jessie, Olivia, Mamie?, John, Ellen 1879, Herbert)? (In 1900, they are on the same page as my Waldron & Cooper ancestors.)

I'm not a blood relative, but I believe I have blood ties to Julia F. Weeks who married George H. Frisbee in 1875. Perhaps George and Olivia are related (a longshot, I know).
I received their record from the Kittery town clerk yesterday. Julia and George both resided in Kittery 16 FEB 1875 when the marriage intentions were filed. (There's no record of the marriage itself, but Julia has George's last name when she shows up in the 1880 census at her (half-?)sister's (Nancy Adams nee Waldron) house.

Calvin Wesley Frisbee is my great, great grandfather, through his son William D. I'm wondering if either of you know his birth date? I find record of a Calvin Frisbee buying land from the Holland Land Company in 1910, but I wonder if that is an earlier generation than Calvin Wesley, either his father or grandfather. Any idea?

I am researching the Frisbee Family for my grandchildren. I have Joseph Holland "Gudger Hollan" Frisbee, born 6/13/1819, died 8/26/1895 Buncombe Co., NC, married Nancy Estepp. Do you have his children? His son, Shadrick Frisbee married 2nd Louisa Haney and this line comes down to my grandchildren. I think Joseph Holland's parents were John and Rachel Frisbee. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandra

According to the 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880, Joseph Holland and William Frisbee were both born in NC. The 1880 states that both their parents were also born in NC. Nancy that married J. H. was an Estepp. I have 10 children listed for them: Salina, Abner, Leander, Loranzo, Martha, Marion, Mary Malinda, Shadrack (the line I'm working on), Sarah and Susan. I also found on the net, that Joseph H. was born 6/13/1819 in Buncombe Co., died 8/26/1895 Buncombe Co. I do not know haw true this is. Good hunting and God bless.
Thanks,
Sandra
sandrah@xtn.net

I noticed these post and I am interesting in sharing information about the Frisbee family. My great grandfather was Marion Anderson Frisbee born in Buncombe County 1-Apr-1878 and died 12-Jul-1963. He moved to Henderson County where he married my great grandmother. His father was William Frisbee and his mother was Sarah Foster.

I am keenly interested to get more information about William Frisbee or his father who I believe to be Alfred Frisby or their descendents. I suspect he may be originally from the Frisbee family that lived in the Leicester area.

Please send me an email so we can compare notes.

Regards,
Troy.....
me@troydrake.com

Hi Angie. I don't know if you have found this information but Bettie Frisbee Maynor was raised with my grandmother. The Maynor Family you are looking for is Garrett Esybous Maynor. There is 46 pages of family listings--and she did a great job of documenting so much history! I believe it is message 172 but if you put in a search for Garrett on Genforum you should find it!
