I grew up in Henderson,Mills County, Iowa. Art and Addie(nee Danford). (Addie's grandfather was Simeon Triplett, an early settler of Henderson) started the Henderson Rodeo. The very 1st one was in 1938 in the Henderson school yard. In 1949 it was moved out to Art's pasture where he had a sale barn just outside of town. It was held every summer.
