There is a book about those prisoners- its in storage now. I am not sure if they are mentioned by name, but there are numerous references to them in the geneaologies posted by their descendants- Frizzells ( Frizells) from New England. It is these Frizells who went to Ohio and are related to Pres. Taft and all the famous Tafts.
I sold my house and am building a new one- thats why all my stuff is in a warehouse.
You are right about the records in Scotland-- in the Highlands there were none. Doesn't matter all that much-they were all clansmen who followed the Clan chief. The Frasers/Frizells supported the Stuart kings against Cromwell, and that is probably how our ancestor William Frizell came to America-as a deportee or fugitive from Cromwell, like those other Frizells who went to Lynn.
There is a James Frizell in MD who is contemporaneous with William. There appears no evidence they were related closely. The names are different, they lived in different places, and I can find no connection. I just do not think they were brothers. When William died, he had one son, John. His wife Ann Porter married Patrick Duncan, who gifted property to John.John married Eliz. Stewart, daughter of " Col. David Stewart" --These are all Scottish names, evidence that their associations were with Scottish immigrants like themselves.
