Frances Frnka Halamicek
Mrs. Frances Frnka Halamicek, wife Dr. J. A. Halamicek, passed away at her home last Friday, after a prolonged illness. She had been in ill health for several years and had been confined to her home since last March.
Mrs. Halamicek was born on March 1, 1884 and died May 26, 1933. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 28 at the home and at the El Campo Catholic Church at 3:30 P.M. where a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends gathered to pay their last tribute of love and respect. The remains were laid to rest in the O.D.H.S. Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. J. A. Halamicek, two sons, John and Frank; two daughters, Evelyn and Arline; two sisters, Mrs. F. J. Kallina of Garwood, Mrs. Cyril Huvar of this city; five brothers Frank and Ed Frnka of Garwood, John Frnka of Nada and Ben and Emil Frnka, this city.

PASSES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS
Well Known and Highly Respected Lady Dies at Her Home Last Friday Evening
The sad news was spread about this section last Friday evening that Mrs. Frances Frnka Halamicek had passed to the other side following a long illness.
Mrs. Halamicek had been troubled with bad health for a long time and all that medical science knew to do was done for her but at last it was only to prolong the coming of the death angel.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Halamicek was forty-nine years, two months and twenty-five days. She leaves to mourn her departure in the immediate family, her husband, Dr. J. A. Halamicek, four children, John, Frank, Evelyn and Arlene. Besides these, she leaves a number of brothers and sisters and other relatives.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the home. St. Philips Catholic Church Rev. V. A. Raska officiating. Interment was made at the O.D.H.S. Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home.
