Fundy Frnka Dies of Heart Attack
Florian Thomas “Fundy” Frnka of Magnolia Beach succumbed to a heart attack at his home on Monday afternoon, January 15th.
Mr. Frnka was born in Garwood on June 18th, 1915, later moving to El Campo with his family where he made his home for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Laura Frances Menefee of Louise, one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Juroska of Port Lavaca, three granddaughters, one sister, Mrs. Ted Martin of El Campo, three brothers, Beno Frnka and Victor Frnka of El Campo and Eugene Frnka of Port Lavaca.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grace Episcopal Church in Port Lavaca followed by graveside service at 11:30 a.m. in the Garden of Memories, El Campo.

F. T. “Fundy” Frnka Passes Suddenly With Heart Attack
Florian Thomas “Fundy” Frnka, former El Campo resident, passed away from a heart attack at his home at Magnolia Beach the afternoon of Monday January 15.
Mr. Frnka had been in business as a merchant at Magnolia Beach the past several years. He was a native of Garwood having been born June 18, 1915 and was 52 years of age.
Funeral services were held this Wednesday morning January 17 in Grace Episcopal Church at Port Lavaca. Interment and graveside rites followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in El Campo.
Mr. Frnka is survived by his wife, the former Laura Frances Menefee of Magnolia Beach who was born in Louise; one daughter Tommye Joyce Juroska of Louise; three brothers Beno and Victor of El Campo and Eugene Frnka of Magnolia Beach; three grandchildren of Magnolia Beach and one sister Mrs. Ted Martin of El Campo.
