I just saw your query on the message board. My husband comes down from a Jacob Frack who came to PA in 1732. His son Jacob married Christina Margaretha Krebs. Their son George Michael married 1st Hannah Ruch, then 2nd Magdalena Lauder. The first marriage produced Daniel Frack, founder of Frackville, PA. His daughter Lenora (Frack) Meredith is my husband's ggg-grandmother.

I would love the corrospond.

Jean

I BELIEVE THERE MAY BE SOME PAPERS DEALING WITH THE ESTATE, CAN'T REMEMBER WHETHER OF ISAAC OR KATHERINE. SEVERAL YEARS AGO MY MOM WAS DOING SOME RESEARCH AND LOOKED INTO WHATEVER SHE COULD FIND. ISAAC WAS A BROTHER TO BARBARA OR BARBRA, WHO WAS MOM'S GRANDMOTHER. THE RESEARCH IS WHY I KNEW ABOUT THE GRAVESTONE. WE VISITED ALL THE CEMETERIES IN THAT AREA AT THAT TIME. SHE DID NOT THINK THAT ISAAC DIED IN A MINE ACC. BUT RATHER DIED OF A FEVER, ILLNESS.

YES, WE WOULD BE COUSINS DOWN THE LINE. MOM REMEMBERED THE ACTUAL PEOPLE OR STORIES SHE WAS TOLD AS A CHILD. I REMEMBER GOING ACROSS THE GRAND RIVER IN A BOAT ONCE IN A BOAT. SOME OF THE FROCK PEOPLE WERE ALSO FISHING, AND WE TALKED TO THEM. PROBABLY SAW THEM OTHERWISE, BUT, REALLY REMEMBER THAT OCCURANCE. MOM'S FOLKS LIVED NEAR GRAND RIVER AND KEPT A BOAT TIED UP AT EDGE OF WATER ON THEIR PROPERTY. A WHOLE 15 ACRES BEFORE THE RIVER STARTED CUTTING IN. SOMEONE WAS ALWAYS RUNNING THE FISH LINES AND FISH NETS, BEFORE THE DAYS OF STRICTER RULES. MY THOSE FISH WERE GOOD!
