My grandmother, Elsie Bieslin, married a Froehlich and lived in what was called Kings. I am not familiar with New York City, but have been told that there is no longer a Kings area. She divorced my great-grandfather and informed my grandfather that his father was deceased. We have come to find out that he was not deceased and have no way of looking up this side of the family, as now grandmother is deceased. My grandfather died when my dad was 5mths old, so no information there. We know that he was not deceased, because he sent flowers to my grandfather's funeral. There is a possibilty that my great grandfather could still be alive! If so, I would love to meet him. If anybody knows of any such story in your family, please contact me.
