I'm hoping to connect with anyone with more information about the family of Oscar Froehlich, who emigrated to New Jersey in 1896. My research (both online and notes by my grandmother) indicate that he had a sister Anna who died in childbirth, a brother Max who was killed in the French Foreign Legion, a brother Charles who lived in Philadelphia, and a brother Curt who lived in Connecticut. I have some photographs of someone known to me only as the "Grossvater," who is likely named August and who was in America from 1877 to 1890, 1902 through his death in the 1920s. Anyone have any connection to these folks? I'd love to hear more.
