Hi Eva,
If we are connected it has got to be way back. My grandfater was Gustav Theodor FROESE, his father was Franz Theodor FROESE and they moved from Gelsekirchen Germany around 1909-1912. Theodor's brother Otto FROESE moved to Illinois about 4 years earlier(1905-1908) I don't know much about Otto, but I am asking around. Theodor had about 11 children and my grandfather Gustav was the only one to move to Canada. The rest of the family moved to Illinois. Now, Theodor and Otto's fathers name was Ferdinand FROESE, but that is as far back as I know. We have an on going reunion with my mother's family; she has 12 siblings and then of course all of their families!! The reunion is in Canada, a ways away, I guess! I just discovered a cousin in Illinois who has a lot of information on my grandfather's siblings (the ones who moved to Illinois) It has been very exciting to find her. The name Albert FROESE sound familiar to my cousin, she is checking it out for me with her dad. Dee has a grandfather who's name is Albert FROESE, maybe you two can be in the same tree? All those names that you mentioned, sound so familiar, I wonder if they were popular names. Well lets keep on looking to see if there is a connection somewhere, k? Thanks for the correspondance.
