Hi again,
I'm sorry, but I made a mistake. My Grandfather's uncle was named Otto FROESE. My grandfather Gustav FROESE b: 1897 in Prussia, his father was Theodor FROESE b:1872 He and his wife Rosina (Abt) emigrated to Illinois with their children. It was his brother who's name was Otto. Now their father's name was Ferdinand FROESE. I do not have his information. I am trying to find this out :) I found a long lost cousin through searching in the Family Tree maker site, that is how I found the rest of my grandfather's family. They live in Illinois mainly. I don't believe I have heard of anyone of the Froese's that I have come accross living in New York, but you never know since that is where alot of immigrants settled. I am pretty new at this searching stuff myself, but I will help out as much as you want. Come to think of it, I believe I heard that Otto FROESE had moved to the US before his brother Theodor FROESE. You never know, maybe he had a son Otto!?! I can check with my cousin and see if I am correct. I'll find out where he settled. I'll get back to you. It may take a while, though. Talk soon.
