Froese - Memelland, East Prussia

I am an American Froese currently living in Europe. My father and grandfather were born in Windenburg, Memelland (now Vente, Lithuania.) Previous Froese ancestors were all from Nidden/Nida. I have more complete information posted at my website: http://joel.froese.com/genealogy.htm

I would be interested to hear from anyone who believes they may be related to me. Also, I intend to travel to Lithuania in November; if anyone has been there to research their family heritage, I would appreciate any tips you could give me.

I am searching for Jessie Katherine Froese. She was born around 1953. She has an older sister and and older brother and three younger brothers, two of which are twins. I found a "tree" with their names, however, no other identifying information. I know in 1969 her father worked as a carpenter and they lived around Eatonville, WA. I have reason to believe they are now located in KS.

I would like to contact any of the family members. phippsamy@hotmail is my email address, if you have any information I would greatly appreciate your help.

I am looking for some family history on my grandfather Herman Gustav Froese. He was born 24 May 1897 in Pommern Ostpreisen Germany. His father's name was Franz Theodore Froese and his Mother's name was Ernestine Abt they had 3 Children together: Herman,Ernest and Marie. If anyone may have some information on my family history please reply. I believe when my Grandfather's family immigrated from Germany, They all moved to the USA. My grandfather was the only one to move to Canada. Thank you
~Brynja~

Looking for information regarding my father's family.
My grandfather, Hermann Froese, was born in Eydaten in the District of Memel (part of Prussia and now Lithuania) on December 15, 1887. His father was Friedrich Froese and his mother was Katarina nee Terrisch. I have found the Memelland site a great source information regarding my grandmother's family tree. However, I have found very little information regarding the Froese family tree. Although Froese is also my maiden name, I am related to the Froese family through my husband. His family are Mennoite from Russia.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Janice (Froese)

I am looking to fill out some gaps in our family tree. This is as far back as I know:

My grandparents Max and Marie Frose (nee Willm) came to Alberta I don't know exactly when, maybe the 1920s or so from Gdansk (Danzig) which was German territory at the time.

Max's parents were Robert Frose or Robert Froese and Lena Frose or Lena Froese (nee Kirsch). That's all I know. If anyone can help me please send me an email.

Paula

Unidentified Photos

I have some photos from the Album of Isaac (of Gruenfeld)and Helena Wiebe(of Steinfeld) and we believe some of them to be Froese relatives. Isaac's sister Margaret was married to a Peter Froese. Please take a look and see if you recognize anyone.
http://www3.telus.net/JennPenner/index.html
Thanks for your time, Jennifer Penner
