Gayle,
I sure see a lot of identical names and even birthdates. But it looks like a different branch of the Fronk/Frank family. Our George Fronk was born April 29 1791 in Eastern PA. His father, Jacob, was born 1760-65 in Eastern PA. Jacob's father, name unknown, was born in Germany. I have traced Jacob from his death in 1840's in Raccoon Twp, Beaver County PA, lived in St Clair Twp, Allegheny CO PA in 1810, 20, 30 censuses. Very likely was in Dauphin County PA in 1800. Jacob had 4 children, in addition to 1791 George, there was 1802 Jacob Jr, and an unknown daughter born ~1794, #2 son born 1795-1800. 1802 Jacob Jr had 5 children, died in Beaver Co in 1872. Many of his offspring settled around Beaver Co, and there are many descendents still in the county.
Our 1791 George had 9 children, Solomon b1816 (died in Beaver Co), George W. b 1829, John W b 1833, and 6 daughters. Daughters all married and remained in Western PA or Columbiana Co Ohio. 1791 George and 1829 George W moved to Columbiana County OH in the 1850's. John W also moved to Columbiana Co, buried in E. Palestine. George and George W are buried in Salem OH. Geo W had 2 boys, Seth and John, both buried in Salem OH. John 1870-1956, begat my father George 1904-1999, also buried in Salem.
I have a copy of a Mar 31, 1796 will of a Palson Fronk of Washington Co PA, who refers to wife Mary, sons, George, John, Jacob, Andrew, Henry, Patrick, Daniel and Peter. Daughters Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary Eve and Lucy.
I have checked out several Fronk/Frank in Beaver County, including a George and a Rheinhold - both born in Germany (so not directly in my lineage). They appear to be part of a split off from the Harmony Society and settled in Phillipsburg (Monaca) PA.
Let me know if you can see any connections. I will share whatever I have. Good luck
Bill Fronk
