Darlene and Sam moved to San Diego in 1986 for better weather and lots of golf and were residents of Solana Beach, Ca. for nearly 20 years. Sam started his new career in San Diego at Driver Insurance along with his wife, Darlene. That was, until he landed the best job in the world as a ``Course Marshall ' ' and later was promoted to ``Head Player ' s Assistant ' ' at Morgan Run Resort and Club. A private Interment with military honors will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery with his family members present. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at El Camino Memorial Encinitas Chapel, 340 Melrose Avenue, Encinitas, Ca., on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. followed by a ``Celebration of his Life ' ' at 3 p.m. at Morgan Run Resort and Club located at 5690 Cancha de Golf, Rancho Santa Fe, Ca.
