Roxie M. Caylor Frye, age 81, of North East,pa, died Thursday, September 29, 2011, She was born on June 22, 1930 to the late Jelbert Caylor and Elizabeth Eckman Caylor Cook in Brookville, Pa. Roxie graduated from Brookville High School and worked as a clerk at G.C. Murphy Co. in North East for several years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. Roxie enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Frye (July, 14, 1985); brothers, Lee Caylor and Lynn Caylor; and sister, Elizabeth Cunkleman. Roxie is survived by her son, Vernon Frye and wife, Sara, of North East; daughter, Patricia Bailey and husband, Ronald, of North East; sister, Erma Conrad of Indiana, Pa.; grandchildren, Michele Langley and husband, William, of Vermont, Brian Bailey of Delaware, Jeremy Frye and wife, Nicole, of North East, Jonathan Frye of Maryland, Jeana Skelly and husband, Patrick, of North East; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Tyler, Danielle, Lillian, William, Alanah, Donovan and Miah; and a great-great-grandchild, Annabell. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St. North East, PA on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating Rev. David Kuchta.
