Meliton Fuente/Fuerte

I'm desperately looking for information on my maternal grandfather. My mother never new her real father & all I have is a name. Meliton Fuente or Fuerte. It's spelled one way on her birth certificate & one way on her baptism certificate. He was supposedly born in Texas, but moved to California. The only other person who knew him has passed away (including my grandmother). I have 3 photos of him & will be happy to share them if it helps. I am searching for my great grandfather Rafael Gomez Fuente(s), (ues). I have seen the named spelled three different ways so I'm not sure on the exact spelling. He married (1) Isabell Espinosa, (2) Jennie L. UNK. He had one child named Rafael with Isabell and five children with Jennie, 1 Henery, 2 John, 3 Annie, 4 Salvador, 5 Joe. Last I can find him he was living in Mountain View, CA but I can't seem to find him now. Can someone please help!

Hi,
My family first surfaces in parish records in Southam and Dunchurch, Warwickshire, England around 1740 and probably arrived before 1700. The spelling is rather confused but the anglicised version was something like 'Fluendydosher' or D'osia. Christian names such as Vivas suggest a Spanish or Portugese origin.
Family oral tradition suggested a connection to the Armada but this is a relatively popular myth and there is no hard evidence.
It is notable that the area in Warwickshire around Southam & Dunchurch was a centre of catholic sentiment in the 1590's being a centre of the 'Gunpowder plot' and might have had a Spanish connection.
I would welcome comments, suggestions or information on Fuente d'Ossia /d'Osa / etc.

I am looking for information on the Fuente surname.
My grandfather is Manuel Fuente from Cordoba Agentina.
His parents were Ceferino Fuente Manuela Fuerte.
He married Maria Zahlut.
