I ran across your posting about Troy Dee Faglie that married a Betty Carver. Troy was my brother. He married Betty the 14 of Nov. 1956. Troy had a twin brother, Roy Lee.
Betty and Troy had four sons. Stephen Dee, Dwayne Todd, Brent Newton and Robert Dale. Betty and Troy divorced, and Troy married a Norma Russell. They had two children. Melanie
and Troy Neal. Troy got custody of his four boys in his divorce from Betty. My mom tried to help him out but she was in her seventies and couldn't manage. The three oldest was put in Hendrick Childrens Home in Abilene Tx. My husband and I adopted the youngest. Troy passed away in November of 2008. Sadly he was an alcoholic for most of his
later life. Betty lives around Brownsville Tx. She married someone named Czerwinsky or i. She had two sons when she and Troy married. I don't know where they are.
If you have any information as to where Lidia Frances Faglies husband is buried I would appreciate the information. His name was Richard and he died in Freestone county Tx. I have never been able to locate the cemetery as to where he lies. Their oldes son was Leroy. The next son Lafayette is my grandfather.
I would like to hear from you. My email address is
Ewolfe19@aol.com

Maria(h) Fulfer - Daughter of Joseph

I have some old information indicating that Joseph Marion Fulfer born Tenn. abt. 1798, second son of John, was married twice. Second marriage was to Mercie Chaney. The first wife is unknown, but allegedly Joseph had six children by this marriage: Dorcas, Elizabeth, Maria, Carrel, Nancy and Lucinda. I believe that Maria was my gg grandmother who we have identified as Mariah Fulfer, married to a Barnard (John) Henson appearing in the 1860 Cumberland Co., Illinois Census. Does anyone have any related information that might confirm Joseph's first family?

I'm back into my researching again after so many years. I've lost alot of stuff do moving, hard drive crashes etc. At one point I had a picture of Margaret Helen Driggers and William Riley Fulfer. I'd actually been in contact with Vanessa back then who had a bunch of stuff. Some of that, I do still have.

My connection. William Riley had a son named Henry Howard, who was my mother's father.

Anyway, did anyone ever find a link to Margaret Helen being Choctaw or Cherokee indian? I'd heard the Driggers were. I know my mother always said she was one quarter Choctaw.

I haven't gotten to do much lately about the family and hope to do more now that I have a newer computer. The old one got full and stopped working well. I know that my dad and his cousins and my Uncle Arden would love to see the pictures.

I am happy to send you these, as I see your name a lot for the Fulfer family, and I see your contributions for the Dollarhide's too and I know how much I love having photo's of my ancestors from those that have them. I wish more people would offer them up. The old photo's are rare enough, if you can't get them from your own family, and I am still struggling to find out who all the people are in my treasure trove of photos given to me after my Grandma Underwood-Dollarhide died. Since I am not "blood" of the Fulfer's and Dollarhide's, as my Dad David Dollarhide was a step-son, I want to see the descendants have them at least! I see Diane Coffey as a researcher, too. I vaguely remember the Coffey's as a little kid, Uncle Rance and the gang. My Dad didn't take us to visit very often. Perhaps she might want a set, too. I am going to contact her as well. I will print out them out on photo paper for you. Send me your address via: rather_ri@yahoo.com

Hi Vanessa,
I am the daughter of " Dave of Mountain View" A picture of Samuel E. Dollarhide just recently turned up. Are you still researching the Dollarhide's? My father was the step-son of Shadrick, (sometimes seen as Shadrack- but my Grandmother wrote it as Shadrick) and I am doing my research on his mother's family the Underwood's. I would be happy to send you a copy of this long forgotten negative that just turned up after 35 years. I also have a couple of photos of Lydia "Liddie" Fulfur Dollarhide Coffey in her later years.

This is the only message I could find with the surname Nordean, so am posting this message. Spokesman -Review, Spokane, WA, Jan. 31, 1932, part 4 of the paper is an article on Andrew Nordean and Charles F Sonnabend, who were Detectives for the Police Dept, and worked for the auto theft bureau. There is a picture of both of them and a wonderful artilce, but too long for me to type. Andrew had been a member of the department since 1910. If someone would like a copy of this article please contact me at jbc.bbinc@att.net. I'm not related to either person, but thought someone might enjoy the article.
