The project is brand new and I hope that the males in the various Fulbright / Fullbright lines will participate and help us all find accurate family tree connections now that science is available to help in a way not imagined by those genealogists who came before us! I am Hester's daughter in law. She passed away a few years back. I can' t seem to recall the date. I took care of her for 2 years and grew to love her more than I had expected. She was a very strong woman. She became precious to me.
She waited for me to be with her before she crossed over. We all loved her and miss her very much. I am married to Russell and we have 3 daughters. You can e-mail me at jan_bridges @yahoo.com if you would like to know more or have questions.

It goes Nellie Ellen Wolfinbarger married Clarence Milo Holmes b-1884 Cowley Co. KS d-26 Sept. 1976 Buhl,Idaho they were married October 24, 1915 in Buhl, Idaho. There children are Harold Holmes, Edna Marie Holmes, Martha Belle Holmes and she is my mother. If you give me a e-mail address I can send you copies of what I have. And also where do you fit in here. Nancy Jane Fulbright was the daughter of Thomas Fulbright
son of William Fulbright Thomas was born 1844 and William in 1807 some think that william was the oldest son of William Wilson Fulbright, no sure about that. will try to check it out.

Hi I am Marsha and my g-grandma Nancy Jane Fullbright married William Wolfinbarger on 25 Dec. 1882 in Aurora, Lawrence,MO. I don't know if that ties in but I am having a hard time finding anything out of her. There daughter and my grandma was Nellie Ellen born 28 Mar. 1898 died Dec. 25,1962. Hi Patrick,My husband is Dennis Reed, he is the son of Lois Carrie Fullbright Reed, she was the daughter of Clarence "Casey" Fullbright, he the son of William Fullbright & Carrie Richardson.

William was the son of Jasper Fullbright.

Casey's family was Arthur Fullbright, Florence, Lillian, Harry "Knute", Delbrt, Ormell Brecht, Meg Schuster. Your dad Donald being the son of Arthur.

Eugene Lafayette was born as you may already know to Walter T. Fullbright and Nannie Matilda
Stewart. Nannie is my Grandmother from when she married Gordon Simpson Burghart. They had one
daughter which was my mother Brownita Matilda BUrghart.
Uncle Gene had a first wife by the name of Cecile Carmen Colbaugh ,she died of Cancer if i remember
right have to find the newspaper clipping on that .

There was :Elzora Fullbright
Eugene L.Fullbright
James Walter Fullbright (Uncle J.W. as i called him)
William Timothy Fullbright( Uncle Bill, had the family
nickname of Cupie mom said because
of his good looks)

And Bertie Fullbright.

I have Nannies parents as J.M Stewart and Matilda Webb. And I got that
from an article in Nannies Bible when Matilda passed away .Born Aug 23, 1866.
Died Jun 3 1912.

I have been trying to go through Grandma Nannie's Bible and try and preserve the
newspaper clippings she had stuck in there over the years. I do have some pictures
which im tryin to get scanned and put on disk , there so old im afraid that if i dont
there going to be lost. I do have something that Nannie crocheted or tatted one,
it is a star with a house in the middle of the star and the other symbols i cant quite make
out .Have to find the picture of her standing on the porch with it hanging on the door
it may help figure those out. I have also lace that she made, She loved to do tatting.

Paul , I'll be very happy to share with you the information that i have and any Fullbright
pics that i have. I have one of the Wickett House down in Akins.One of Grandma Nannie and
Walters head stone. Pictures of the Fullbright boys when they were young. Any questions, just
ask I'll try and help. Any dates you need ill be happy to

you said that eugene was your Uncle, was that on the fullbright side. I am a third cousin to Eugene on the Fullbright side and 4th cousin on Lessley side as
Moses and William Henry Fullbright 's wives were
second cousins on the lessley side. If you can fill me in alittle more on Eugenes line please do. I am also the Fulbright Family Historian so any up dates are most welcome

Paul , Thank you very much for the obit, something i had been looking for but hadnt been able to locate. I had written her a letter just prior to finding about her death . Survived by her sons, Jerry (Jean) Bridges and Russell (Jan) Bridges grandchildren, Blue, Teddy Jack, Tina Rose, Sugaree, Honey and Coco Bridges, Sherrie Hicks and Joseph Bridges great grandchildren, Halen Harris, Peyton and China Goodney, Melissa and Michael Hicks. Her remains are at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Hendersonville, where the family will have visitation (today) Wednesday, August 21, 2002 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville with Rev. Ben Alexander officiating. Her remains will be transported to Apache, OK for a Graveside Service on Saturday, August 24, 2002 at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Sara Bodenstein officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ambrose Campbell and the X,Y,Z Club. Family and Friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. Interment Fairview Cemetery in Apache, OK. Any information on my Aunt Hester would be great. What I have found so far is She was born Oct 17,1911 in Oklahoma, and died in Hendersonville,Sumner,TN on Aug 20,2002. I know at one point she was married to a Bridges they had to boys may have had more, Russell and Jerry are there names. Her last husband was my Uncle Eugene L. Fullbright . Her maiden name, marriage and divorce dates parents names are my blank spots . Thanks for any help - Lori

I see on the death cert. that Carrie was borned in NC.
Feb.11, 1850. Her father was listed as Jessie Fullbright. She died in Chattanooga June 4, 1939. Her mother(can't make out the name) and father both were listed as being from NC.

Jeff, from the 1920 census Carrie was 62 she would have been born in 1858 or there about. this is so confusing to me. now if we could find out more about them .I will keep digging.

I am at a loose end looking for my great grandmother Lucille Carolyn(carrie) Fullbright. She married Ulrich Nelms and lived in Chattanooga, in the 1920s and 30s.
