Trying to find inof on Willie G.'s parents. At a dead end.
He was married to George Ann Elizabeth Amick of DutchFork/Braod River Township of SC. Their children were Blanche (m.) Watson, Belle (m.) Hedgepath, Mary (m.)Metze, Clarence O., Henry Cleve, George Berlie, Elgin Glenn, Willie Lee, Carl Rutherford, John Herman, Shelley Berdell , and Annie Mae.
George Ann Amick was the daughter of William Rutherford Amick and Polly Catherine Cromer.

Annie Mae died at 2yo and John Herman lived only a month.

I have no clue where Willie George's parents were from and who they are. Family stories always said that Willie G's mother was a Cherokee Indian, but there is no more to the story. Could be that he was the illegitimate son of a slave holder and a slave girl. There is a Creasy Fuller listed in the area that would b about the correct age, and a Edwin T Fuller from Laurens County SC that would be about the right age as well. Edwins mother was Anne Glenn and that could account for Willies son named Glenn, since some of the other names of the children come from George Ann's side of the family, ie. Rutherford.
Any help would certainly be appreciated.
