Kathy, I saw where you attached some materials related to Archibald Fuller from my tree. I then looked to see you had posted queries at points in time. I am note sure you have the correct Archibald but would love the opportunity to share some information related to his first marriage and second marriage. He is buried in Cass County TX in old Fuller family cemetery.
He never went to the Civil War as he would have been quite past the age to serve. The story goes that he left... said he was going to serve and never returned. He moved a state away and took a new wife and started a new family. They had a number of kids. I am not sure if store was contrived to save face for his wife Lucy Young Fuller or ?? He is found in Texas with several adult kids from first marriage living nearby. The family certainly knew since they again moved to common parts of Texas.
