i'm related somehow. lol. i'm chasity. my gr grandfather was smith fultz. i have his wife being nancy feathers but this info may be wrong by what i've seen recently. lol. i am seeing that he was married to a lucy ann tolliver? maybe a different wife? anyways my grandfather is luther fultz smith's son. i do know that my grandfather had many siblings. if you can help me work out who nancy feathers and lucy ann tolliver are it would help. thanks

my grandfather on my dads side is luther fultz. he was married several times and is rumored to have many children out of wedlock. my grandmother was dorothy sargent. she and luther had 11 kids. they were/are clayton, tim, tammy(twin on tim who died after birth), alan(muchie), mike, steve, dianna, sandra, jerry, luther jr, and randy. randy is my father and i'm Chasity (also have a brother who died at 9 months of age named randall)my mothers name is freda. i know luther's father was smith fultz and his mother was a full cherokee indian they called feathers. i know that luther was married to a woman named florence(1) and they had 3 children which were/are earl, florence(2), and the twin of florence that died at birth along with florence(1). he also was with/married a ruby davis and had dallas, jack, pete, and bob. i was told he had other children with other women and that 2 of those were girls named georgie(georgia?) and emily. so is their mothers name lottie??

Actually Joshua was the son of Samuel FOLTZ (1812-1888) and Rebecca Ann DAUGHERTY (1818-aft 1900), not Samuel FOLTZ (1809-1890) and Anna Rebecca HITE.

your Samuel FOLTZ (1812-1888) was the son of Martin Luther FOLTZ (1789-1859) and Mary Magdalena EMSWILLER (1785-1868).

Martin Luther FOLTZ (1789-1859) was the son of Joshua FOLTZ (1760-1833) and Dorothea DELLINGER (1761-1816).

Joshua FOLTZ (1760-1833) was the son of the immigrant Johann Peter VOLTZ (1730-1811) and his wife Maria Elisabetha MINTZIN. Peter came to this country from Grossgartach, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany on the ship Patience, arriving 16 Sep 1748.

I am also tracing the Fultz/Foltz line. My fiance's mother was Carol B Fultz (1940-2002) she married Forest Odell Clem (1930-1992)
Her brother was Lyle Fultz (we know nothing of this side, other then he did have a Jr, just don't know with who).
Her father was Erston H Fultz (1912-1955) and mother listed as Reba Edna Frye (1917-1989, no info on her family, wish I could find something)
Erston's father was Luther G Foltz (1879-1945) married Nora Etta Hockman (1880-1947)
Luther's father was Joshua T Foltz (1848-1912) married to Amanda Elizabeth Shanholzer (1853-1932)
Joshua Foltz father was Samuel Foltz (1809-1890) married to Anna Rebecca Hite
The family line goes back the the German Voltz.

I am looking for information on Londi Fultz and her family. She was born abt. 1856 in Linclon Co. and married Albert Ramsey in 1879 in Lincoln Co. In 1880, she and Albert had a daughter, Ada (1) and Londi's brother, John (9) was living with them. Ada married John Carter in Trenton, TX. Londi was living with her oldest son, Ed in Hall, TX in her later years.

Yes Jacob 1st wife was Catherine Elizbeth Singer born 8 jan 1791 Berks Co, Pa. Died 1818 Allensville, Pa. Burial was at St. Paul's Lutherain Cemetery, Allensville, Pa.

His 2nd wife was Mary Smith born 10 dec 1796 Mifflin Co. Pa. Died 10 Oct 1884. Burial same as Catherine and Jacob

I am new to the research on Maria Elizabetha Mintzen and her husband Johan Peter Voltzen/Foltz. I would like to avoid confusing them with the other similar couple from the same time period.
My ancestor is their daughter, Catherine Boltzen, who was born in 1755 and who married Godfrey Daniel Stout in 1772.
Can you steer me toward the correct parents so that I don't repeat other's mistakes?

Fultz in KS....possible given name Perry

We have a family photo with an unknown lady who may be Fernetta Mullenax Fultz, wife of Perry Fultz. She was the daughter of Victoria and David Mullenax who lived in Sumner Co. KS. in the early 1900's. Written on the back of the photo are the words: To Callie and there are two children with this unknown lady who are identified as Ronald, 3 years, 8 months, and Perry, Jr. 1 year.
Callie was a sister of Victoria Mullenax, and the aunt of Fernetta Fultz and that clue leads us to believe that the young mother in the photo is Fernetta.
If you have a Perry, Ronald, or Perry Jr. in your line, please contact me. We need to identify this photo. Maybe you can help. If so, we have more than just a photo to share with you.

George Washington Fultz (1856-1945) was the son of Frederick Fultz (1799-1876) and Nancy Smith (1822-1908), grandson of Frederick Fultz (1765-1843) and Anna Sabina Hanger (1771-1841) of Virgina. The younger Frederick came with his aunt and uncle John Martin Fultz (abt 1760-1826) and Susanna Shutzer (1774-aft 1830) to Washington Co., IN about 1820.

The original name in Germany was Voltz or Volz (spelling wasn't as big a deal back then). There were Voltz/Volz families all over Germany. The one from near Freiberg had a coat of arms. However, a coat of arms belongs only to that man and his immediate family, not to everyone who can claim the name Fultz/Foltz/Fulse/Fults/Folts. Most of the Fultz families in Virginia were from the area around Boeckingen and Grossgartach (currently Leingarten) in Wuerttemberg, and were farmers and shepherds - no coat of arms.

I've seen a lot of postings from a few years ago by some people concerning this family. However, when I tried to email them, I didn't get a response, so I don't know if their email addresses aren't any good anymore.

What I am trying to find out is if there is anyone out there who has a bible record, a court or probate record, etc., that is tangible proof that John (wife: 1. Dicy Sloan and 2. Elizabeth Fannin) is definitely Obediah/Martha's son. I see everyone posting this family agrees that he is one of their children, but I need a definitive source. I'm assuming that since so many people list several of their children online that that information MUST come from some sort of concrete proof--or perhaps a compilation of proof that definitively points to that.

PLEASE contact me if you know of any tangible proof that exists proving John as Obediah/Martha's son. Thank you!

The bill avers that the parties were married in Grundy county, Tenn., in August, 1877, that they lived as man and wife until 1880, when they were separated by the willful desertion, without cause by the husband. The defendant had failed to provide for his family; and the wife was forced to return to her father's home in Grundy county, accompanied by her only child. Further, defendant, when he left his wife, contracted with a woman in Grundy county named Nancy COOPER an illicit relationship, which he maintained in open lewdness until his departure for Georgia ten months since.

I believe the marriage date for Mary Elsie FULTZ and Arthur Austin FRY is 29 October 1880, not 1942, however that date is when Arthur died. I am linked to the FULTZ line through Arthur Fry, his father was John E. Fry; John's brother was Enoch Fry, who is my great-great grandfather.

Charles M. Fultz in 1910 census for Ironton, Lawrence County, OH married to Julie E. (married in 1901) -- no mention of a Maud Woodyard. If he married a Maud Woodyard, then probably daughter of Isaac R. and Rosa (Gaines) Woodyard of Edgar County, IL and later Vermillion County, IL.

Looking For Ohio Born Fultz Married to Eula

i've bit the bullet and joined ancestry.com and come up with a bunch of new info that is good for my tree but the one line that i want to trace has a dead end and that is of my grandpa's dad's side of the family.
my grandpa ( leonard Fultz ) never knew his dad or at least
thats what i've been told and the living family knows little to nothing of the family history sadly enough anyways what i did find out is that my grandpa's mom was named Eula V. Tilley (maiden name) born 1905 and in a census report eula states that the father was born in ohio but thats the only information that i can find or get so my current request is to find a Male Fultz Born in ohio roughly around the time of Eula's birth give or take 5-10 years that was married to a Eula or connected to a
illinois connection the best scenerio would be to find Eula's marriage certificate/license for this unknown fultz that she married.

Mrs. Belle McGuire Dead; Ill for Year

Mrs. Belle McGuire, 80, of 1707 West Ninth Street, died at 6:30 o'clock yesterday evening at the Ball Hospital following her year's illness. She had resided in Muncie twenty-five years.

Surviving are four daughters, Miss Elsie McGuire, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Raymond Bisel, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Milly Stone, of Greensburg, and Mrs. Kenneth Pingry, of Muncie; one brother, John Fultz, of Muncie, and one half-sister, Mrs. Rose Brown, of Alexandria.

The body was removed to the Parson mortuary.

I do not know if this will be of help, but I am also searching a Fultz/Fulks line that appears in Indiana as early as 1830. By 1840 the husband appears to be dead, and the mother is listed as head of household. This couple had 9 children according to the census records - which I do not have any of the childrens names. Could one of those kids be your Frederick Fultz? Please contact me direct for more info.

Hi, Seeking any information on a William J Fultz born in Ind '65 - '66. Married a Leonora Warntz from IL in 1890. Died in IL in 1948. Only daughter was Dorothy, born in IL.

Accrdng to the census records William's father was born in Ohio and mother in Indiana.

Forehead's a bit sore from all the wall banging. I'd appreciate any ideas/ info.

I do not have any dates for John and Martha Fultz. The information that I have is Daniel L. Moore was born January 2, 1842 and lived until July 31, 1906. He married Margaret Fultz on March 19, 1860. Margaret was born September 20, 1839 and died Nov. 20, ? They supposedly had 11 children but the only one that was written for me was Benton Franklin Moore, whom was my great-grandfather.
