My father was Lewis Adam Funk and he was from Front Royal. I still have aunts and cousins in the area. My grandfather was Charles Jackson Funk Sr. and he was married first to Florence Moreland Shifflet who died around 1909. In 1910 he married Margaret Elizabeth Ritter. My grandfather fathered 15 children from 1903-1927.
