Am looking for information on a Funk Family living in Elk Creek District of Grayson County. In 1900 I believe the Head of Household I am interested in is Fred (census hard to read) born June 1850, wife Frances J. born February 1856, son William J. born April 1887. Living with this family was a 3 year old girl, Amelia Frances Pearman. This is my husband's grandmother. As a family we were unaware that Amelia was a ward of the court .Amelia's mother was Sena Isabella Byrd Pearman. She died in 1896. Her father John L. Pearman remarried a Flora Patton Littreal (widow) in 1899. We are interested in any information concerning this incident and/or family.
