Part of our family lore is that my branch is related to Gen. Frederick Funston. My great grandfather David emmigrated from Ireland to Toronto Canada in 1909 from Belfast. He was a son of a halfbrother of Frederick Sr.'s father. Supposedly David was the 20th son in a very large family in Ireland. However every source I find only takes me back to Gen. Funston's grandfather Frederick. I can not seem to get any connection back in Ireland.
