Hi Roy and others,

Please, could I get clarification on the information on your website regarding Onesimus Futch. Was he born in Orangeburg District South or North Carolina about 1745?? Was he married in South or North Carolina to Ann Dukes?? If Ann Dukes was born in Bulloch County abt. 1751 then they must have returned to SC or NC in 1765 to get married if they were married there???? I am a little confused!?

I know with so much information myself I have mistyped many locations and dates. It is so hard to trace where they went and when, especially with the changing of the county and state lines/boundaries.
From what I have researched so far, my line is: Mary Futch Strickland, Appie Futch,Louis F. Futch, James H. Futch, Jr., James H. Futch,Sr., Onesimus Futch, Jr., Onesimus Futch, Sr. I am part of the Futch, Strickland, Denamark, Lanier, Hendry family of Southeast Georgia. (I Certainly have a challlenge to trace these families!!!)
