John Adam Gaar ....b. 1856

I believe that this John Adam Gaar was the son of Michael Adam Gaar (b. ~1813), whose parents were Joel Gaar (~1771-1856) and Lucy Head. Joel's parents were Michael Gaar and Elizabeth Wilhoit. Michael Gaar was a Lt. in the Culpeper Co., VA Militia during the Revolutionary War.
This is where our families connect. Joel's brother John Adam Gaar (d. ~1821) moved to Georgia after the Rev. War with his family. This older John Adam Gaar married Nancy C. Daniel and these were my gr-gr-gr-gr grandparents via their only child, Rev. Michael Daniel Gaar (b. ~1801). Let me know if you want more info.
