Looking for any info on Mary Hannah Gabeau, I am aware she married a John Hancock Willis, however I would like to know more of this woman if any one has any info. Same thing applies with her husband John Hancock Willis.

I think the last name of Marie should be Ferrasteau, which may actually be the name of her second hustand who was Anthony Forresteau. She married 3rd James Guillebeau. If you contact the Huguenot Society of SC, we can let you know what we have on file.

There were two Susanna Gabeau's. The one that married William Evans was the Aunt of Susanne Marie who married Lewis Tavel. Actually Susanne lived for a while in Savannah, GA with her daughter around the 1880's. If you'd like to contact me my email address is tillmansue@sbcglobal.net. W0uld like to locate burial grounds of Louis Joseph Tavel, husband of Suzette Maria Gabeau who was rhe daughter of John Gabeau and granddaughter of Antoine Gabeau. Suzanne was not married to an Evans and lived all of her life in S.C. but was buried in Laurel Grove cemetery in Savannah,Ga. March1,1894
