Gabel, Rose L. LaPaglia


Rose L. LaPaglia Gabel Rose L. LaPaglia Gabel, 75, of Millcreek, died peacefully at her home Thursday, January 24th 2008. Born in Erie August 17, 1932,
she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Calogera LoFrisco LaPaglia. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert O. Gabel;
a grandson, Nicholas Robert Gabel;
two brothers, Angelo and Joseph LaPaglia;
four sisters, Frances Darrigo,
Mildred Campanella,
Sally LaPaglia-Kobalewski,
and Mary Metzger.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen R.
and Maria Gabel, both of Millcreek;
two grandchildren, Lindsey Bennett, husband, Timothy,
and Jenna Hayes;
a sister, Jennie L. Ferraro, of Erie;
a brother, Anthony LaPaglia, wife, Mary, of Erie;
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Brugger Home for Funerals,
1595 W. 38th and Greengarden Blvd
on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.,
and may attend services there Monday at 10:15 a.m.,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial
at St. Jude the Apostle Church
at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude the Apostle Church or Make a Wish Foundation.
