Was wondering if this might be your Barbara also.
Our Barbara Gabelman, b.1850. Married, 1881, Ross County, OH to Martin Eberle b. 1841/42 Germany.
Their children were: Clarence, Lulu & Walter

Barbara (Gabelman) Eberle mother's name was Lena (we think this might have been short for Magdalene/Magdalina) b.1824/25, Germany.

Lena lived with the Eberle family on the 1900 Census Columbus,OH. At this time she was 75 years.

Was wondering if you might have ran across these Eberle's or Gabelman's in your search.

On the 1880 Census,Portsmouth, Scioto, Ohio -- there was a Lena married to Phillip Gabelman. But don't know if this is the same Lena as yet. She was 55 years at the time. This would have been the correct age range of our Lena also.
