Do you know if all three brothers stayed in Ohio? My grandfather Henry Gabelmann came from Germany in 1867 but I can not find any record of him and my grandmonther until 1900 when they lived in CT. He was born 1845. One of sources said my grandfather's father was named John.
I believe he had brothers but not sure where they had settled. It might have been NJ or PA as some of my grandfather's children were born in Jersey City NJ and in Philadelphia PA. My grandmother also came from Germany when she was 14 or 15. Her maiden name was Catherine Doden. She was born in 1858.
