I am descended from Lewis/Louis/Ludwig Reitz and Margaret Kramer, so Frederick is some kind of great+++ uncle. I appreciate knowing the ancestry of his wife! Happy to share info about these glass blowers - I have traced them back to the Saarbrücken area of Germany. Try Goebel, or Göbel in those early records.
