May GABLER, a hundred year old mystery

Can anyone please help with this mystery? We are trying to trace our grandmother, who we never knew. We know she was of German ancestry and apparently born in New York and married a German man with the last name of GABLER. She had four children with him: 3 daughters and a son in order here: Anna, Thomas, Margarete and Catherine. At age 33 she married Thomas Conde, whom we believe adopted the four children from her previous marriage. They lived in Kings county, New York, Ridgewood area. We would like to know May's maiden name [she also was German] and the name of her husband, surnamed Gabler who hailed from Wuerttemberg, Germany.

We have run into a dead end. Can find no marriage or birth or death records for May, nor can we find the first name of our grandfather. If anyone can help, please contact us and thank you.

Many thanks in advance for your attention and response to my non-genealogical question.

I am looking for a dear, old friend, Deborah Gabler. She was born in 1963, lived in Newcastle, CA and attended Occidental College in 1981 to (I assume) 1985. The last I heard was that she had married, but I don't know to whom or where she resides currently. If this is your relative, please email me or respond here.
I am the granddaughter of Adam Joseph Gabler. He was married to Hattie Elizabeth Geier in Hazelton Pennsylvania in 1912. They had three children, Walter, Eva, and Emily. They were divorced in 1923. Adam Joseph Gabler remarried, I believe, and had another son. If you have any information, please contact me. Thank you!
