My grandpa, Frank Simonik Sr. arrived Baltimore in 1903 from Gnedza(Hniezdne) now Slovakia. Records list a cousin Anna Gabor. His sister Victoria married a Kalmin or Kalman in Budapest, who was in the jewelry business. Some Gabors also sold jewelry as seen on some postings. Other names: Toth, Tote, Tatar, Hober,Kasur, Kaiser, Katschur , Krompassik,Farkas, Minnick . Would like to find connections to these names. Most were ethnic German; some Slovak.
