I am looking for a Gabrey/Gaboury family who was said to be living in Morrisville, Lemoille Co. Vermont circa 1858. My husband's grandfather was Charles H. Gabrey born circa 1858 in Morrisville. In 1894 according to the marriage records, he was a widower age 26 when he married Alice I. Mason in Killingly, Connecticut. He came to Connecticut to work in the textile mills. Charles and Alice had at least two children before Charles deserted the family in the early 1900s. He was never heard from again. We often wondered if he had a wife and family back in Vermont when he was living in Connecticut. I would greatly appreciate any information or help finding Charles' parents and other family members.
