WABASH — Ruth Pfeiffer, 36, 531 Michigan St., died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2003, at her home.
She was born on March 30, 1967, in Norfolk, Va., to Pasquale and Ella (Sifford) Gabriele. Her mother survives in Wabash. She married Anthony C. Pfeiffer on Feb. 8, 1997, in Wabash. He survives.
She graduated from Wabash High School in 1986 and worked part-time at the Wabash Kmart. She was a member of the Wabash Friends Church and a member of the home fellowship groups and Bible study.
Also surviving are two daughters, Xaveria Nichelle Pfeiffer and Victoria Isabelle Pfeiffer, both at home; one sister, Charlotte Delacruz, Wabash; two brothers, Michael Gabriele and Pasquale Gabriele Jr., both of North Manchester. One sister, Teresa Behney, died in 2000.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel. David Phillips and Mick Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the Wabash County Cancer Society.
