There was a WILLIAM GADBERRY in Lincoln County, NC during the 1820 census. His wife is unknown. I have succeeded in documenting what I think is his family. In any case, I have the following set of siblings all pretty well documented:

The only noted one of these siblings was COL. JAMES M. GADBERRY of Union County, SC. He was a delegate and a signer of the SC ORDINANCE OF SECESSION, 20 December 1860.
