I doubt the James Geddes - William Gaddis connection. I've seen it posted but I've never seen any proof of it. Also, William Gaddis' birthdate and place are unknown. All we know for sure is that he married Priscilla Bowen prior to 1741, that they lived in Frederick Co, VA as early as 1741, and that William Gaddis died in 1773 and is buried in Hampshire Co, WV. If anyone has found documentation regarding William's parents I'd love to know about it. Descendents of William Gaddis are welcome to visit ww2.esn.net/~monument to view his descendents.
